Talk It Up Thursday-Redistricting
At the beginning of every new decade brings a new census, which is followed by redistricting. Redistricting is necessary to maintain an equal balance of population between each voting district. In this Talk it Up Thursday, we will hear from Gina Wright from the General Assembly’s Legislative and Congressional Redistricting Office. Gina will highlight the differences between redistricting at the federal, state and local level, focusing on the current needs of cities in the process.
