An Exchange of Ideas Around Community Events

Events play an integral role in local government providing social and economic benefits to the community. Events can demonstrate civic pride, help charitable causes, celebrate culture, attract tourists, educate residents and beautify an area. Successful events require planning, partnerships, promotion and resources; and communicators are often in the mix during all these steps. Join us for our May quarterly meeting in Douglas where a panel of communicators will provide some ideas and tips on planning and promoting your next community event. A group exercise will follow the panel.  Lunch will be provided.
