In this session City of Fayetteville Public Information Officer Danny Harrison will provide tips on overcoming writer’s block. He will also give a brief overview of AP style resources and how they can enhance your writing. We will also have some interactive exercises and a roundtable discussion. 

The session is free, and lunch will be provided. This meeting is open to Georgia city, county and state government communicators. The meeting will be held at Fayetteville's city hall, which opened in June 2021 and is located at 210 Stonewall Avenue West between Fayetteville City Cemetery and the Fayette County Government Complex. Behind City Hall is the popular City Center Park, complete with a colorful and captivating playground, walking paths, picnic pavilions, a Great Lawn, a dog park, a pond, and a splash pad that is open in warmer months.

Danny Harrison began writing professionally in 1995 with Fayette County News in Fayetteville, Georgia. He has worked in the news media and in several other communications roles here and overseas since then. Danny became the City of Fayetteville’s first Public Information Officer in December 2016.
