On October 10, 2024, Georgia Municipal Association’s non-profit, Georgia City Solutions, Inc. (GCS), will hold the 2nd annual Community Impact Awards event at Savanna Hall, Zoo Atlanta. The event will honor former Atlanta Mayor, Shirley Franklin, and the cities of Decatur, Leesburg, Ringgold, and Tifton for the positive impact they have made in the state of Georgia. Proceeds raised from the event will support GCS’ programs and initiatives in the areas of Youth Leadership and Engagement, Municipal Workforce Development, Equity and Inclusion, and Literacy Improvement.
