2023 GMA & GCS Youth Council Symposium

Georgia Municipal Association, Georgia City Solutions, and the City of Lagrange Youth Council are pleased to host the 2023 Youth Symposium in Lagrange at Great Wolf Lodge October 13-15, 2023.  This weekend event will bring together Youth Councils from all over the state of Georgia. Youth participants will have the opportunity to meet & learn from young professionals, connect and network with other youth councils, share their youth council accomplishments, participate in leadership workshops, and gain practical skills through simulations and team work.

 

The registration fee for each participant is $50.00 per youth & chaperone staying at Great Wolf Lodge, and $100 if not staying at Great Wolf Lodge for the  symposium. Registration packets with detailed schedule information will be emailed to the adult youth leader prior to the event in October, but a tentative schedule is below.  If you have any questions, please contact Artiffany Stanley at GMA at 404-783-4736.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Great Wolf Lodge at a rate of $239 per night. All rooms have 2 queen beds w/ pull-out sleeper sofa & include access to the indoor water park & resort activities. 3:30 pm  –   6:30 pm      Free Time (Great Wolf guests has access to water park & resort activities)
6:30 pm –  10:00 pm            Dinner and Movie night at Sweetland Amphitheatre (110 Smith St., LaGrange)
                                             Movie night will be on the lawn at Sweetland, so bring own blankets or use ones provided in gift bag.
