Fall 2022 Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Leadership Institute
Named in honor of former GMA President and Mayor of the city of Thomson from 1979-2007, the Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Leadership Institute is an intensive multi-day seminar that focuses on helping city officials enhance and sharpen their leadership skills.
The registration fee is $700.
Cancellation fee: There is a $100 cancellation fee for cancellations after September 1. Cancellations after Sept. 15 will not be refunded.

Please make reservations by August 20. If Brasstown is sold out for your desired dates, GMA has a small block at The Ridges Resort The rate for The Ridges is $139++. It is about 2 miles from and on the same road as the Brasstown Valley Resort. Please be mindful of the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute attendance policy: To receive credit, a participant must attend the entire class. For three-hour classes, anyone arriving more than 15 minutes after the class begins, leaving class repeatedly or leaving class early will not receive credit. Class completion forms must be signed by the participant and the instructor and provided to the instructor at the end of the class. Class instructors will not sign class completion forms in the event the attendance criteria cited herein is not met by the participant.
