GMA ARPA: Audit of ARPA Fiscal Recovery Fund Expenditures

GMA ARPA: Audit of ARPA Fiscal Recovery Fund Expenditures
This webinar will (1) recap the key requirements of the single audit process; (2) describe the field work that auditors must undertake; and (3) drill down on the tests of FRF compliance that your expenditures will undergo. Our objective is to help make your city “single audit ready.”

Federal policymakers have tried to make the receipt and expenditure of funds made available under State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund program authorized under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) simpler than the procedures that apply to other federal grant programs. One way they did so was to adjust the frequency and scope of financial and performance reporting, particularly for smaller non-entitlement units of government. However one procedure that they can’t step away from is the statutory audit requirement under the federal Single Audit Act of 1984.

PRESENTER: Bob Lloyd is a respected authority on policies and practices affecting the award, administration, and oversight of federal grants, contracts and subawards , He has been advising GMA staff and previously delivered several well-received FRF-related webinars for GMA members.
